In this blog we will bring to you a few of our horse games that feel feel are more appealing and fun for girls to play, and the reasons why. While horse games are fun for everyone, there are some that have been designed or are much more focused on a particular audience, and in this blog we will be discussing the games that we feel are more aimed at girls. Boys can and do play these games too and they are all a lot of fun when you are there but there is a definite feminine touch to these games.
But what is it that makes these games more appealing to girls? Is it the look, with more pink than usual or is it something more? One of the main ways you can see is what you actually do in the games, girl horse games tend to be gentler and a lot less competitive or aggressive than others. The activities you take part in set the tone for what you play and a game that is much more relaxed can appeal to a particular audience and come across in a specific way.
Although there is more to it than just what you do, the presentation and feel of a game also have an effect on who plays it. A game that has a softer approach and looks really good will have wider appeal, but something that feels more cute over realism can also be a factor. It is a little hard to in down or exactly describe how the drawing of a horse can have an effect, but if it feels a little softer and looks more gentle players react differently. If you take a horse from any of these games and compare it to a horse from a racing game the look and feel are different.
One of other key features of a game is the social side. A game with a much larger and more active community is a lot more fun to play and the actions and members of that community drive who else joins it. Not to say that gender plays a part, though it is more likely that a game with a huge amount of active and talking players is going to have more female players than male.
Let us move on to the games in our list today, and each of these is a game that we feel has that little something that leads more towards the girls of the world. But every game in this list is also one that has a lot to do and they are all games we love to play.
Star Stable is an example of a game with a huge community as you are riding and exploring a world with people from all over the globe at the same time. When you are in a city there are people all around you, mixed in with a softer animation style it creates a lovely atmosphere. The look of this game is one of the best you will ever see in a horse game and there are so many different horses for you to own and ride.
In Bella Sara the horses are often magical and very beautifully drawn. Based on a collectible card game you can play with and find horses all over the world. With a series of quests and stories that are very appealing to girls. The design is unique and has a link to the cards that really shines though in both genres of the game.
Club Pony Pals is based on the novels of the same name and has 3 girls as the main characters, which draws in a much more female group of players. With all the characters from the books and many more new friends to meet there is a lot to do in this brilliant game.
Focussing on our much smaller equine friends PoneyVallee is a game that lets you look after normal and magical ponies. The only Facebook game to make our list we felt it merited its place here because of its gorgeous style and elegant gameplay. And of course the wonderful creatures that you can own and look after.
For something a little different we have Second Life, a virtual world where you can create your own horse paradise, or just explore the thousands of different places full of people to meet. The most realistic of our games the look and feel of this game is quite stunning and here you can let your imagination run wild.
